AliExpress, a leading global shopping platform from China, is implementing enhanced measures to protect Korean brands.
On the 26th, AliExpress announced that it had taken over 8,500 protective measures for Korean brands from December last year to July this year.
AliExpress is strengthening the protection and management of intellectual property rights to create an environment where Korean brand owners and consumers can safely trade products.
To achieve this, AliExpress has not only quickly blocked counterfeit products on its platform but also enforced store closures for violating stores.
In particular, the average processing time for counterfeit product refunds from January to July this year was 4.2 days, more than two days shorter than the same period last year. This improvement minimizes consumer damage caused by counterfeit products and ensures a swift response.
Ray Zhang, CEO of AliExpress Korea, emphasized that this demonstrates AliExpress's commitment to providing the best service to customers through continuous intellectual property protection efforts, and he affirmed that the company will continue its efforts to protect Korean brands.
