Furthermore, they emphasized the need to promote cultural exchanges, including large-scale exhibitions and exchange programs in various fields such as science and technology, green energy, and space, to enhance modern understanding.
To this end, the two countries agreed to hold a "Cross/Multisectoral Year of Exchanges" encompassing economics, education, science, and civil society.
President Putin and Prime Minister Modi expressed their intention to strengthen cooperation within the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPUOS), including issues related to the long-term sustainability of outer space activities.
