Famous Mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang to File Complaint Against Intimidating YouTubers

Famous mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang (real name Park Jung-won) has revealed her intentions to file a complaint with the prosecution against certain YouTubers who have allegedly threatened her, following claims of assault and intimidation she suffered over the past four years. On the 15th, Tzuyang's legal representatives, lawyers Kim Tae-yeon and Kim Ki-baek from Taeyeon Law Office, disclosed this position on Tzuyang's YouTube channel community.

Lawyer Kim Tae-yeon stated, "We plan to submit a complaint to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office's Criminal Division 3 against YouTubers Gu Jeyuk, Fraud Detector (Jeon Guk-jin), Crime Lab Operator, and an anonymous intimidator," adding, "Tzuyang was so mentally and physically exhausted at the time of the extortion incident that she had no capacity to respond."

Tzuyang's side explained, "As the incident began to be publicized, indiscriminate secondary damage started to spread, leading to the decision to file a complaint." They also added that they would actively respond without leniency to any additional participants involved in the incident.

Currently, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office's Criminal Division 3 has already assigned a complaint filed by Tzuyang as a victim. The prosecution has received a complaint against 'cyber lecca' YouTubers on charges of extortion and has transferred the case to the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office.

On the 11th, Tzuyang claimed on her personal YouTube channel that she had been continuously assaulted by her former agency CEO and ex-boyfriend, Mr. A, and had not received proper payment for her broadcasts, resulting in a loss of at least 4 billion KRW, sparking controversy. Meanwhile, YouTuber Gu Jeyuk, accused of intimidation, voluntarily appeared at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office that day, denying the allegations. The operator of the 'Karacula Crime Lab' channel also distanced himself from Tzuyang's accusations.
