The subsidiaries targeted for this merger had been operating with minimal staff as their new development projects had been suspended.
Zero Games, which developed 'Chaos Mobile' and 'Icarus Eternal,' began liquidation procedures last year, including recommending resignation. Space Dive Games, which had been developing 'Quantum Knights,' also ceased development at the end of last year.
ReG disbanded its console development team earlier this year due to the failure of the console game 'Genesis: Grey Shadow,' which was released last year.
Meanwhile, Line Games also announced on the same day that it has sold 294 shares of Line Next's US subsidiary for approximately 950 million KRW to Line Next's domestic subsidiary.
The purpose of the disposal was stated as the 'sale of non-core assets.'
