Thousands of fans gathered in front of the Louvre Museum before the event began to catch a glimpse of Jin. Fans waved Korean flags and held signs with messages like "Welcome, Seokjin," "Run, Seokjin," and "Fighting, Seokjin," chanting his name.
Jin appeared around 8 PM, and fans greeted him with cheers and chants of his name, giving him a warm welcome. Jin responded with a bright smile, waving back at the fans.
Afterward, Jin, escorted by police, moved to Rue de Rivoli to receive the torch and marched approximately 200 meters back to the front of the Louvre Museum. Some fans ran along his route to see him a bit longer.
