Samsung Electronics will debut its new foldable phone series and smart ring at the 'Galaxy Unpacked 2024' event held in Paris, France, ahead of the Olympic opening.
According to the IT industry on the 10th, Samsung Electronics will host the 'Galaxy Unpacked 2024' event at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, at 3 PM local time (10 PM KST) on the 10th, to unveil new products including foldable phones.
Samsung Electronics is set to showcase new products such as the Galaxy Z Fold·Flip 6, the second AI smartphone and the first AI foldable phone, Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Buds 3.
This series will support various third-party messaging apps, including an AI translation feature.
Additionally, when the phone is stood at a 90-degree angle, the external screen will display the conversation partner's language while the internal screen shows the user's language.
The 'AI Graffiti' feature using the S Pen is also noteworthy.
The new foldable phone series is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 3rd generation processor and supports on-device AI implementation.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 boasts significantly enhanced performance with 12GB of RAM and a 4000mAh battery.
The main camera has been significantly upgraded to 50 megapixels.
The Z Fold 6 is lighter at 240g and thinner than its predecessors.
The Galaxy Ring emphasizes its lightweight design at around 2 grams and 24-hour wearability, offering healthcare functions such as sleep, blood sugar, and heart rate monitoring.
It is gaining attention for its healthcare features that surpass those of smartwatches.
The event will also see the unveiling of the Galaxy Watch 7 series and Galaxy Buds 3.
